How will workshops work?
When: Workshops can take place on Wednesday 24th, Thursday 25th or Friday 26th March during school time. We can be flexible to a time that suits you and your class.
Format: Workshops will be delivered live and via Zoom (Google Meet and Microsoft Teams can be accommodated). If the class are all together in one room then it might be good to have the dance artist on a large screen. If your students are still learning from home then they can join from where they are.
Length: Workshops can be between 30-45 minutes
Content: In a workshop you can expect the dance artist delivering the class to welcome you all, do a warm up, teach some dance material, maybe set some task for the students to do or explore and do a cool down.
Age suitability: These workshops can be tailored to the age of your class. We have options available for primary, secondary and special educational needs. Teachers are encouraged to join in but no dance experience is needed Children/young people should wear appropriate clothing and footwear/bare feet.
